    Reviews:

Dolores, December 2018: Kim and Mike were perfect hosts. Our stay was magical, not only because we were in the area for our son’s wedding, but because they provided amazing touches and a hands-on approach that was memorable. Their home is amazing and they were incredibly hospitable. Kim’s breakfast was inspirational. We will be adding her recipes to our lives. We hope we can visit them again.

James, December 2018: It would be impossible to say which was better – the house itself, the bucolic location, or the hospitality of the hosts, Kimberly and Michael. The ambiance is peaceful and meditative, the view out of any window beautiful and beckoning, and the breakfast just what the doctor ordered. Everything was well-prepared for our visit, and sparkling clean, including the best shower ever. Highly recommended and we do hope to return.

Theodora, December 2018: A wonderful place to stay! We look forward to staying again. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s in VT and this was the best! The photos of the rooms are fully accurate. The house is impeccably clean and tidy. Kimberly and Michael were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Kimberly makes an awesome breakfast! She made some fried apples for breakfast omitting sugar so I could eat them. Michael showed us the walking paths behind their house with their dogs leading the way. Their house is 3 miles from downtown Brattleboro and there are many things to do. I lived in Putney when I was in college so I had plenty of things to do. Kimberly has plenty of pamphlets and ideas on what to do.

    Upstairs Suite: Book on AirBnB

Stylish two-bedroom suite upstairs, with private bathroom, is excellent for a couple with children, or two friends traveling together who want separate rooms. The larger bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the smaller bedroom has two single beds. The bathroom is off of the bigger room, so if you’re two couples, it may be more comfortable to book the upstairs wing, if available. We make you a delicious healthy homemade breakfast, and enjoy getting to know you during breakfast in the common, spacious dining room. If you’d prefer to cook, you are welcome to make dinner in our country kitchen.

    Reviews:

Tessa, January 2019: We had a wonderful time at this Farm Stay. The upstairs room is spacious and comfortable, and impeccably clean. It is close enough to Brattleboro’s downtown to make it easy to get to, but far away enough to make it feel like you’re in the countryside. The animals (goats, alpacas, chickens, and guinea fowl) are really neat – we even did a walk around the property with the goats. The breakfasts were delicious, with local, high-quality ingredients. We highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Ellie, December 2018: Kim and Mike were wonderful hosts! Mike took us to a yoga class, showed us around town, and then spent over an hour introducing us to the animals at the farm stay. We made dinner in the kitchen one evening and Kim ensured that we had everything we needed. Thank you for having us, our weekend was lovely.

Emily, December 2018: This is our second time staying at Kimberly’s incredible home and it appears to get better with each visit. The breakfasts are lovely, the space warm and inviting. I adore the pets who live in the home (Coco, Yuri and Skip) as well as the goats, alpaca, chickens, guinea and cats who reside in the working farm down the hill. I will absolutely stay in Brattleboro whenever I come to visit again – a true gem of incredible hospitality.

Chitra, October 2018: Kim and Mike were great hosts, the space was very comfortable, the views were amazing. The breakfast was terrific…homemade blueberry pancakes and eggs. The farm animals, including the alpacas and the pet goats, were so enjoyable to watch. Recommend!

Dan, September 2018: A serene 11-acre farm surrounded by the green hills of VT, only a few miles from Brattleboro Center. Kimberly and Mike maintain the house meticulously, are generous about sharing it, and are very helpful as needed. They volunteered to drive me somewhere at 4am when I was without wheels. Another time they lent me a bike. And of course there’s breakfast with their hen’s eggs.

Mike and Kim, the owners of Heart Storm Farm, are wonderful people with a vision to bring the farm life to those who visit. With goats, llamas, alpacas, hens and lovely dogs to tend them, you’ll receive a taste of Vermont life upon your visit. Want to help run the farm? Well this is the place to join in, as Mike and Kim allow guests to participate in as much of the farm as you’d like. Additionally, Kim loves to bake, so her muffins and farm fresh eggs are definitely not to be missed!
