Community Asylum Seekers Project (CASP)
The mission of the Community Asylum Seekers Project (CASP) is to cultivate a supportive community for those seeking asylum in the U.S., while supporting basic needs and accompanying them on their journey towards building a life in this country.
CASP supports asylum seekers by providing assistance with food, shelter, and other daily needs as they resettle in our community and are waiting for work authorization. We assist asylum seekers with access to immigration legal services, as well as other services in the community that they may need while making a home in a new country.
We also host educational events and workshops about topics such as immigration, trauma, and racism for our volunteers and community members.
