I’m Amée LaTour, a Brattleboro-based writer for nonprofits. I write fundraising materials, newsletters, press releases, website content, and more, balancing brevity with detail to distill the heart of nonprofits’ work.

I have more than a decade of professional writing experience. In early 2024, I left my career in political writing to support organizations that help meet people’s basic needs, expand opportunities, and reinforce our connections with one another. My choice of clients and my writing are informed by strong values. Ethical storytelling, respect, and honesty are central to my work. I’m also highly reliable and organized.
